About these terms

These terms govern your use of Octivaro (octivaro.app), a cocktail bar discovery platform. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Octivaro provides

Octivaro is a free-to-use platform for discovering cocktail bars, browsing curated guides, and exploring bar listings across supported cities. The app is provided as a progressive web app (PWA) and does not require an account to use.

Accuracy of information

We make every effort to keep bar listings, opening hours, and other details accurate and up to date. However:

• Venue details (menus, prices, opening hours) can change without notice. Always check with the venue directly before visiting.
• We do not guarantee that any listed bar is currently open, serves a particular drink, or matches its description at the time of your visit.
• Guide routes and walking times are estimates. Actual conditions may vary.
• Transport information (where available) is provided by third-party APIs and may not reflect real-time disruptions.

If you spot an error, we'd be grateful if you reported it using the venue report feature.

Acceptable use

You may use Octivaro for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content from the app or its API.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or republish Octivaro's guides, listings, or other content without permission.
• Attempt to interfere with the app's infrastructure or security.
• Submit false or misleading venue reports.

Intellectual property

All content on Octivaro – including guide text, curated collections, page designs, and the Octivaro name and branding – is the property of Octivaro's creator. You may share links to any page on the app, but you may not copy or republish the content itself.

Limitation of liability

Octivaro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for:

• Any loss or damage arising from your use of the app or reliance on its content.
• The quality, safety, or legality of any venue listed on the platform.
• Service interruptions, data loss, or technical issues.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Availability

We aim to keep Octivaro available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature without notice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
