A rooftop Italian restaurant, with frozen negronis and some well-matched drinking food.

A Peckham institution. Do you even live in Peckham if you haven’t been to Forza Wine? I suggest going with four people so you can order the whole menu and truly indulge. Each small plate is as delectable as the next. And if the cherry negroni is on the menu – you simply have to order it.

Coming in at number 7, Forza Wine is a chic rooftop gem above Peckham Levels that delivers natural wine, impeccable cocktails and skyline views. Ideal for sunsets and people-watching.

Peckham is hardly short on rooftop bars. It basically invented the modern model with Frank’s, but alas, most of the neighbourhood’s sky-high watering holes close in winter. For views in any season, head to Forza Wine, a bar with the best of both worlds: an outdoor, bench-filled terrace and an indoor area with tall tables and glass doors revealing that stupidly special skyline. Frozen picantes and raspberry daiquiris are the move on a sunny afternoon, while negronis and old fashioneds will keep you warm on drearier days.

A chic wine bar and restaurant in London's alt-capital of the rooftop bar, Peckham. The bar snacks are serious stuff (don’t ignore the fritti) and the wine is outstanding.
